Rev. Barbara Winter Martin is a Minnesota and Wisconsin Wedding Officiant, and an ordained non-denominational minister who delights in uniting couples in marriage.  Rev. Barbara works with all faiths, interfaith and the non-affiliated.

          Whether grand or intimate, traditional, spiritual or unique, Rev. Barbara’s goal is to create a warm and loving atmosphere that truly honors the occasion, and to assist couples in creating ceremonies that reflect their beliefs and values.  Her warmth and calm peaceful presence help create joyous and loving celebrations.

          Rev. Barbara meets with interested couples in her home office.  This gives couples an opportunity to meet her and to get to know her.  Also, at that time, she provides them with a special Wedding Ceremony Booklet which contains a wide variety of possible ceremony content.  Using this Booklet as a starting point, Rev. Barbara works with each couple to create their personalized ceremony.

          The Wedding Ceremony Booklet includes numerous suggestions for Convocations/Opening Words, Invocations/Opening Prayers, Recognition of family/loved ones, Messages to the bride and groom, Special Readings, Vows, Ring Exchange, Unity Candle Lighting Rituals, Family Rose Rituals, etc. She meets with the couples as often as they like to create their perfect ceremony.

          Rev. Barbara is happy to attend rehearsals whenever possible.  Also, she provides ceremony program outlines and detailed programs for musicians, readers and soloists.  Her goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere for everyone.
